This is what we do with our puppies. We are huge on snuggling our puppies as much as we can. It’s important to us to make sure that we provide a super nurturing environment to our puppies and it makes all of the difference that we are able to do that. We are so proud of the breeding program that we have built and we are always looking for things that we can do to better it and our puppies. The biggest thing that we do, aside from constantly holding these puppies, is treating these puppies as if they are our puppies that we will keep. The proof in this concept is that we kept a puppy that wasn’t pick of the litter. Three girls were chosen and we had three girls left and we felt super confident keeping our puppy “Cookie” because they are all handled the exact same! We didn’t give the one we kept any special or different treatment as she wasn’t a planned puppy to keep.

Well we have had these 2 boys for 12 weeks exactly. Today these little pups were taken up to their trainer Cindy with “Let’s Train Your Dog”. They will spend a week with her before being picked up by their new owners and taken to their forever home. We will miss these little boys but we are so incredibly excited that they get to go to their forever home together. They have been hanging out with us just waiting for the chance to finally go home and it’s here! We appreciate all of the forever homes that have come from you all. We truly feel like we get to be apart of such an incredible community and it’s because of these puppies and you all providing amazing homes to them. So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
The puppies got their collars on today. We are able to tell the puppies apart by the color they wear. It’s how you are able to choose the puppy you want and keep track of him/her. It’s a super exciting day because it makes it a lot easier to start to really see the different personalities coming through. We are always holding and snuggling puppies but unless they have certain markings on them to tell them apart from a different puppy, it’s hard to know exactly which puppy traits go with which puppy. I feel like getting collars on means we are progressing to the next stage of these puppies growing! So hurry and reserve your puppy now!
Zoey is such an amazing mom. She lifts her back leg so that she makes sure that all of her babies can nurse at the same time. Gracie would make sure that she got her babies on but she never did lift her leg. It’s so fun to watch our family digs be moms. It’s also amazing how they are amazing moms in their own way.
The puppies are getting bigger and their eyes are starting to open. The puppies are 9 days old today. Zoey is doing such an amazing job as a mom. She has picked everything up effortlessly and she just knows what each of her babies need. The first few weeks are a lot of work for the momma dog. They nurse around the clock and have to make sure to keep their babies clean as well as the proper temperature. Little newborn puppies have a hard time regulating their body temperature. Zoey really is a champion mom!
Sometimes you get the perfect picture with a puppy. This is one of those times where you can see the perfection in the picture. I often express how much I love doing what we do. I count myself lucky to be able to help raise these little puppies. I didn’t grow up around puppies this little and it’s so fun to watch our kids snuggle up with and hold the puppies. Obviously, every stage is so fun for different reasons but this stage is so fun because the puppies just hold still and snuggle in!
The puppies are getting bigger. They are still smaller than Gracie’s puppies she just had. It’s been fun for us to compare some of the similarities and differences in size since the moms are both biological sisters. Grace is about 20 lbs bigger than Zoey and it has showed a little more with the stud, Blaze, that we used on both of their litters. We are really excited to see how their personalities show and compare them to Gracie’s last litter. However, we aren’t in a rush for these puppies to grow fast as we enjoy holding three while they are tiny like this!
Here are our only 2 girls that we got out of Zoey’s first litter. These two are so sweet and one is already spoken for. The other little girl won’t last too much longer. We know these puppies are going to be tiny because they are quite a bit smaller than Gracie’s litter that we just had in May. It’s hard to be able to know for sure the size but I would guess that 25 lbs is on the high side and that most of these puppies will be lucky if they hit 20 lbs. For our family we have the big Golden Retrievers and so we don’t mind a bigger Mini Goldendoodle but people who really want a tiny one, have found the right litter for them!
These sweet babies are 3 days old today! It is hard to believe that they are already changing and growing. This is the age where they start to look like little piglets, which I love. The little puppy on the back with the stomach in the air is one of our little girls. I love when they just lay like this. We pride ourselves on being a breeder that promotes a safe, healthy and hands on environment for our puppies. This is what allows such quality characteristics and amazing personalities.
This picture exudes everything amazing about newborn puppies. They are so innocent and sweet. They sleep and eat mostly. When they aren’t with their momma you can find these little puppies in our hands. They are the sweetest things ever and what’s more is you can’t be sad when you hold them. Puppies are magic but especially little newborn puppies are magic. We feel so lucky to be able to raise these sweet things in our home!
