Today we took the puppies swimming. It is super important to us that we provide as many experiences to the puppies as possible. Swimming is one of the more fun things we get to do with them and some really love it. This is where we find out who are water dogs are and which ones would be fine not to go in the water. Swimming is the last thing that we do before the puppies go home.

We love this new stud we used, Blaze. We have been loving the markings that some of our puppies have. We are super excited to see how Zoey’s puppies will look, given that we used the same stud. The ones that don’t have markings are equally as cute though. This little guy in the picture has the most prominent markings of all of our puppies. I just adore him!
Gracie is a grandma! Here Gracie has her 3rd litter of puppies at the same time that her puppy, Hope from her first litter, just had her first litter. Hope is having petite Mini Goldendoodles. We love that we get to be apart of something that is so much bigger than us. These puppies change our lives and they are therapy. In this world today I feel like having a dog as a companion is one of the best things we can do for ourselves. Not only do We have the best puppies but we also have the very best fur ever family homes! We couldn’t have asked for better dogs, puppies and community surrounding these things!
Our puppies are apart of our family while we raise them. We raise the. Knowing that they will be going to a new family but we raise the exactly how we would hope and want our own puppies to be raised. It is in raising these puppies that we have learned what to look for in a breeder when we are buying a puppy. We have Golden Retrievers and since we haven’t bred for them we have to find other breeders to buy from. It is this pickiness that has set the precedent for raising these puppies. We want every person to love their puppy. If you don’t love your puppy then we didn’t do our job!
Today Mr orange collar found his forever family! His name will be Obi-Wan. The best part of our having puppies is when we get to find a forever home for our puppies. It’s so crazy how these puppies know who their family is supposed to be. The orange collared puppy came out of his pen and walked right up to his new family to be. He laid on his back and wanted them to rub his belly and love on him. In 5 days these puppies will start going to their forever homes!
Our puppies got to play outside today. They had so much fun running around and tackling one another. In the past we would already have puppies at their forever homes, as they would go there when they turned 7 weeks old. We are keeping the puppies until 8 weeks old and it’s fun to see them all together past 7 weeks. Their being together for the extra week is super important to their development and socializing.
We found out today through an ultrasound that Zoey is expecting her first litter. We are so excited to see how similar these puppies end up being to the litter Gracie just had. Zoey is sue on Wednesday, July 13th. We could tell that she has been acting different but until we do an ultrasound it is hard to believe it. We have had dogs think they are pregnant and end up not really being pregnant. Their body will act pregnant and they will even grow like they are getting bigger!
One of the things that is mentioned to us often about Gracie is that she looks like she is smiling in pictures. It turns out that Gracie’s puppies take after her as you can see in the picture below. There are so many reasons to choose Gracie’s puppies to bring to your home. One of the greatest things about these puppies is the Golden Retriever attributes that shine through!Today was a great day with the puppies! They are progressing so quickly. I get a little bit sad when I think that we are so close to the halfway mark of having these puppies. The dogs have started eating gruel and they are doing so well with it. Gracie doesn’t have to spend as much time feeding the dogs now that they are starting to eat puppy food. She is happy to be with her puppies and she likes having time by herself too!
